That "fat fucker" will be 34 next March one month before the playoffs start. Even the big men that have managed their weight and took care of their bodies saw their production decline and injuries increase at age 34. So Shaq might have three more seasons max. I dont think we will see a 37 year old 400 pound Shaq playing in the 2009 playoffs. Three more seasons of increased weight, increased injuries, deep thigh bruises, ankle and knee problems, increasing slowness,declining play, etc......Hey its all good. It couldn't happen to a bigger jerk. Let us not forget the nastiness he showed to a class act like David Robinson.

2003 i'd say

They won in '02, but that was the beginnning of "the toe" and Shaq walking up and down the floor. I was shocked at how awful he looked against SA in '02, and knew their days at the top were coming to an end. It was like he fell off a cliff after totally dominating the league on both ends in '01.
