I haven't seen any mention of him around here. Is there a reason? Too much? Too old? Too injured? All that?

Probably all of that and only Phoenix's medical staff can keep him on the floor at this point most likely. I'd like him for his solid defense and toughness but he'll probably want more money and a bigger role than we can give him. Plus injuries and stuff

Not sure Spurs would pay the thousands he would command

He doesn't back down from no one and he contests everything at the rim. I'll give him that.
However, he won't stay healthy.

Too much, unless he's free.

Considering he played for the vet minimum last year, my guess is his cost is $1.4m this year. But he's done.

In 18:41 minutes a game he put up 8.3ppg, 5.3rpg, and 1.4blk in 55 games. Not too bad.

I don't think he wants to leave Phoenix, tbh..

Ehh. Stats don't always tell you everything. I saw at least 2 televised games last season that the Suns played in and from what I saw that guy is totollaly out of it.

the vet min would be generous...you'd be better off taking a flyer on some young prospect for that money

at least 2 games? wow how do you keep a job with that kind of scouting time commitment?

What's crazy about JO is that he's only 34. You'd think he was Timmy's age with as long as he's been around. But injuries have plagued his career and I don't see him playing more than one more season. Maaaybe two. Spurs should pass though.

just about 2 weeks ago we laughed at someone wearing a jermaine o'neal jersey the same way you would laugh at a guy sporting a shawn bradley jersey.

So you watch two games of someone and try to pass your judgment off as legitimate? Sounds reasonable.

We're way further down than this. See Oden, Greg.

lol Yao.

Seriously, is a guy like DeJuan really a better option than Jermaine?

Not saying he is or isn't, I'm just throwing it out there

I agree. His kness will probably fall off of his body if he plays for anyone other than the Suns.

Forget poaching assistant coaches like Boylan, the Spurs need to make the Phoenix training staff an offer they can't refuse. Duncan could play 6 more years with them in the fold.

Im just saying... In those 2 games I saw he looked washed up. I'm not saying he is, but from those two games I saw, he certainly was. Calm down.
