So OKC traded away Harden because they didn't think they could afford him and got Kevin Martin/useless fucks plus draft picks in return. Martin leaves after one year, which is what Harden would've had left, and they drafted fuckin scrubs with their acquired picks. Am I missing something or is that a lol OKC as well?

Wolves desperately needed a 2-guard who could shoot and isn't a midget. Luke Ridnour wasn't going to cut it.

Why even waste a dime on him. He stinks to high heaven. It's just senseless.

They had just resigned Budinger who is a phenomenal athlete, can run, jump, and shoot, and who averaged like 14ppg before going down to an injury last year.

They needed to trade Williams for a future 1st, take CAP and make a play for a legit SF. Oh well.

they can still hope that J Lambo will put up superstar stats next season to justify this deal. the pick doesn't mean shit knowing the poor quality of draftees in recent years, maybe next year will be better but who knows?

OKC is a small market and the team would never be able to afford 4 big contracts, so they were desperate to trade him at the time for the fear of losing him for nothing. But to be quite honest they didn't know Harden could be THIS good until he moved to houston and flourished there

^Though Harden did fall apart in the playoffs.
