There it is. Sacramento's move.

Former NBA Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans (http://espn.go.com/nba/player/_/id/3983/tyreke-evans) is ready for a change of scenery, according to sources familiar with his thinking.

Sources told ESPN.com on Wednesday that Evans, frustrated by the state of his negotiations with the Sacramento Kings (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/sac/sacramento-kings) as a restricted free agent, is determined to leave the organization and plans to sign an offer sheet with the New Orleans Pelicans (http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/no/new-orleans-pelicans) on the first allowable day.

Although the Pelicans technically are still waiting for Evans to verbally commit to signing the offer sheet, sources close to the situation regard that as "an inevitability" by week's end. Evans then would formally sign the four-year, $44 million offer sheet on July 10, when the league's annual moratorium on signings and trades is lifted. Sacramento would have three days to either match or pass on the offer...

Technically can't sign yet. But goddamn. A backcourt of Holiday/Evans/Vasquez/Gordon.

So according to ESPN he's signed which he can't do, and he hasn't even verbally committed, which he can do.

Fuck some people are stupid.

No way they would keep all four, are you aware what that would do to their cap?

I thought they were trying to dump Robin Lopez somewhere to soften the cap hit.

I hope he signs the offer so the Kings just match and call it a day. Evans/McClemore/Cousins is a nice young core.

This is the same move Eric Gordon made last year.

Leak that you want out. Now the fans dont want you so the team will be inclined to do a sign-and-trade rather than just match.

Kings will match it. 10m/yr for a future superstar is a steal

Not really. Same 50 loss core as every season.

Exactly. Evan's time in Sacramento is over. But, so is Gordon's in New Orleans.

I don't think the Pelicans can move Gordon easily. He's injury prone on a max deal.

You should not have matched the Suns offer. Gordon is not the caliber of man who would return there and act like somebody. He'll sabotage it until he's set free.

I was 50/50 on it. I knew he was a talented wing scorer but injury prone as well. I guess the team didn't want to lose him for nothing and also thought he was part of the future. I think he may be happier having guys like Davis, Anderson, and Holiday with him, but I wonder how he feels about the team going after Evans.

I was all for the match because I figured he was a professional and would act such. I was mistaken.

Karma about to be a bitch for the Pelicans when Sacramento matches the offer....should've let Phoenix keep that scrub Gordon last year.

agree, they matching the Suns offer turned out to be a loss-loss for both teams. Gordon wanted to play in Phoenix so the Pelicans should just let him go, or do a sign&trade something with the Suns if possible. Keeping his ass against his own will didn't add nothing to the Pelicans but a bitchmade "wimp" who feigned a injury and sat his ass out for half of the season.

Can't do a sign and trade if he signs the Pelicans offer.

They can agree on terms of an offer sheet during the moratorium and then can leave Sacramento to try to work a sign-and-trade before he can actually put the pen to paper on the 10th.

Usually, the vast lion's share of professionals (in any field) will respond in a professional manner. That is why they're professionals. You & I thought he'd go back there and brazen it out, but, he promptly took a fit and it's not ended yet.

true, professionals behave like professionals. like, when you tap the ass of a good girl's, she would slap you right in the face which is a normal reaction. meanwhile, if you tap a female celebrity's ass (like my goddess), she would smile to you and lead your hand into her bra

I just read that Gordon is actually excited about staying in NOLA now since he's good friends with Holiday and Evans. They all played on the same AAU team. Honestly I don't see him getting traded because no one will take his salary until he proves he can stay healthy. Rumor is they want to use Evans in a super 6th man kinda role similar to Manu in his prime.

Looks like its gonna be a sign and trade sending Evans to the Pelicans and Vasquez and Lopez to the Kings.

Especially late in games when Davis and Anderson can spread the floor allowing Evans, Gordon, and Holiday to attack the basket. Just think of all the pick n roll possibilities.

Kings must think Mclemore is better than Evans

In reality, he's worse than White boy Jimmer who can shoot and create his own shot

There's gonna be a sign and trade involving Lopez and Vasquez to the Kings. That's coming from the media outlets in Sacramento. They didn't want to pay Evans that much.

Them Pelicans putting together an interesting roster, but damn if they didn't overpay every single one of them in the process. Looks to me like they will be capped out and fighting for a low playoff spot. Not really where you want to be.

Yeah, btw, thanks for matching that absolutely retarded offer. Thank God almighty the GM responsible was run out of town in Phx. You guys saved us from a crippling contract for years to come.

also, not our fault you overpaid for Robin Lopez, and now Tyreke.

5 million for Lopez was pretty good. He was solid last year as a starter.

Evans is probably a bit overpaid but he's still young and fits with the age group of the rest of the team.

I do agree about the GM you guys had last year.
