His defense against LeBron James was startlingly effective. But he was coming off back surgery. We could see Miami in The Finals again next year. You know, give Coach Popovich credit, RESTGATE came against the heat. It's like he knew!

He better get his ass into gear and do it this offseason. I thought he would do it last offseason, but he came back pretty similar. Better get to work and make that effort this time.

Well, let's not go that far. It worked out nicely when Lebron was missing wide open jumpers for us in Game 6. It was an absolute disaster in Game 7 when Lebron was hitting them.

Next year is a contract year for Boris.

He will probably be a little better conditioning wise but who are the Spurs going to use instead of him? Bonner or Baynes? Probably not.. He has his rotation spot. will probably be resigned too

his conditioning has never been a problem
its his mindset
if he takes 3s as they come and posts up mismatches more then he would be an all-star
hes content just swinging the ball around and playing solid post D

Don't forget about pump faking, always pump faking.

Mr. Diaw will...I firmly believe.

If he lost another 25-30 pounds it would make him a hell of a lot quicker.

Yeah but if he loses too much weight he will be useless on the defensive end. His weight helps him against Lebron.

Not to doubt his work ethic, but why would he? He's been overweight for a long time now, and anyway I don't really see it as that big of a problem. He just needs to stop being so damn complacent sometimes; we need his basketball IQ.

His willingness to shoot is more of an issue. If he loses weight he will be a less effective defender against post players.

This is true. To make sure Diaw stayed far enough away from Lebron to take away the drive, Pop told Diaw to pretend Lebron was a salad.

He can always lose a few pounds. He doesn't have to slim right down to his Phoenix or Atlanta weight, but losing a few pounds would definitely help him IMO.

If Boris got on the Tim Mother F****N Duncan regimen of 2012, that boy would easily be the 4th best Spur.

No Boris will not improve his conditioning.
No Splitter will not be able to take advantage of a 6'1 player guarding him.
No Green will not learn how to dribble the ball.
No Manu will not be better then last year.

His weight isn't really much of an issue. All he really needs to do is be less passive.

Anyway, he could lose 10 pounds. He looks so soft and rounded, so fat.

Why would he, he's already better than Splitter as a fatass.
