Al Jefferson is waiting to see what happens with Dwight Howard and the Dallas Mavericks before committing to the Charlotte Bobcats.
Jefferson is searching for a four-year deal starting at approximately $15 million per season.
Jefferson has spent the past day and half meeting with the Bobcats.
Jefferson believes that the Mavericks could make an offer if Howard chooses to sign elsewhere.

He's too short and it ALWAYS ends up biting you in the ass.

Dude's undersize and overrated but I wouldn't hate the idea of signing him if he could be had for a reasonable price, something like 10-12m a year. a deal starting at 15m/yr sounds exorbitant imho

Don't you already have Boozer?

Splitter got overpaid, but a $15M deal for Jefferson will make me feel much better about it tbh

I would not want either TBH! Shows you how weak the NBA is now as far as Bigs go.

Signing Big Al for that kind of money would be a disaster.

Would be cool if Mavs did though but can't really see it happen.

Bobcats on the other hand...

So Bobcats stay in serious mix for Wiggins, even after spending 15 mil on big men

He gonna get paid. Money talks. To a lot of players, money is more important than winning a championship or at least being on a playoff team.

It's good for the soul, Brasky. Now you know it all. All of it.

You've been touched.

*And you even went thru the Lakers to get it. Ipso facto had me with the advantage of Duncan over Kobe. I even was going to include "the tired old shit bag" designate to Kobe's end.

And then it went away and I danced like a dervish. Oh, I was happy, top of the world.
