Just traded to the Raptors. Wants out. Buyout or trade. How about we offer them Bonner and the 2014 Clippers 2nd round pick we hold. We get Camby for one year as second year is not guaranteed. Throw in Lorbek rights if needed.

He may not give us a ton of minutes, but would allow us to develop Baynes for a year. Can you picture, Duncan/Splitter starting and having Diaw, Camby, Baynes to operate with the second unit.

Also, so many of your wishes, BONNER AND BLAIR both gone.

Eh, if it was 3-4 years ago I'd be all over us trying to get him.

Why trade away assets when you can just wait for him to whine his way into a release and then offer him a league min deal? If it doesn't work out, it's only Marcus Camby.

Way too old now. Wait, yeah we'll probably get him.

Camby was of no value to a team desperate for any interior presence in second round of playoffs last year.

He's just cashing paychecks at this point.

makes sense for a back-up center. Swing Bonner and CoJo for this guy. Both are Canadians if I'm not mistaken.

OP maybe on to something. Bonner moved for backup big. To birds with one stone. I'd attempt to move Nando as well in the deal. To give us some roster space and give some order to the 1 and 2. He was injured and then fell out of the rotation in favor of Wallace. Also Melo & Chandler ate a lot of the 4 & 5 position minutes. It wasn't like Rip in Chicago.

His Wins/48 went from around .300 to around .03 last year (.100 being an average player). Either the wheels fell off or he had an outlier year. I would try to bring him in, but you'd have to play it pretty conservatively.

I'd love Marcus Camby.

Unfortunately, what you have now is likely Carcass Mamby.

But we'd be missing out on an opportunity to add another playCamby troll

I proposed trading Bonner for him on draft night in order to move up a few spots. But I wouldn't want the Spurs to be the one giving up an asset. He's not that good anymore, and he's certainly not needed.

Camby can go to hell.

Stupid scrub, always finding some low bb iq team to play with, avoiding the Spurs like the plague when they could have used his services.

Let him rot in basketball purgatory in Toronto, a scrub amongst scrubs, it is fitting.

I'd rather have Bonner or Blair. You wanna talk about washed up, there's a couple of players in the league that fit that category and he's one.
