They were trotting out

Lowry
Martin
Budinger
Scola
Dalembert

as the starting lineup. Now, the we will see what if anything a Harden/Dwight combo can accomplish, but all this would be impossible without the failed Gasol trade that would have sent Paul to the Lakers. Which could have ensured Dwight staying MAYBE. Now, IF this is all true, I have a few more people I'd like to thank.

1. Rob Hennigan - For not taking the Rockets' trash offer for Dwight that Presti eventually took. Thank you good sir!!

2. Sam Presti - For taking the trash offer they proposed to Orlando for Dwight, Giving us Harden, and getting Dwight anyway. Real men of genius salutes you.

3. David Stern - Basketball reasons blocking that trade.

4. Mitch Kupchak - Because you have become the teacher and made us all pay. I sent my check in and it was well worth it.

From the expectations of Chris Bosh and Joe Johnson to the realization of James Harden and Dwight Howard. Probably worth the last few seasons for Rockets fans.

What team is going to help out Houston by trading for Asik though? That's the question.

Plenty of teams have made offers for Asik. Or so I've read.

props to them Htown niggas. that is a lineup you guys got. fuck, Spurs have their work cut out. might have to tank just enough to get OKC against you guys again.

and if Asik wants out, I hope there is something Spurs can do about it, though we'll probably just give Manu a $5 million raise instead.

I hope it works out for Rockets fans, but Howard is the biggest phony and locker room cancer in all of professional sports.

Hopefully Houston doesn't fuck up by signing josh smith. He's always been an overrated loser. I've never understood the fascination with smith, he's the type of player you never see with a major role on a contending team. Plus Dwight needs a floor spacer at the 4 in order to be most effective so josh smith makes even less sense when you consider how he'd fit next to Dwight, all he'd do on offense is chuck midrange jumpers he sucks at then get nasty looks from Dwight about it.

IMO Houston should be trying to upgrade at small forward while parsons has good value. Parsons is a solid young player but not good enough IMO. Having a beast at small forward seems like an essential these days between George, Lebron, Leonard, Durant, Melo, etc. but there's not much available unless they wanna gamble on granger.

I wonder if Houston and Portland can rework that Robinson trade before it becomes official, and add in Asik and some draft picks for LMA.

The miracle wasn't getting Dwight. It took an act of God (or an ex-Rockets executive) to move Royce f-ing White. That pick is the only proof that Morey isn't perfect.

Manu deserves a statue outside of American Airlines Arena.
