View Full Version : NBA: Perimeter defenders...
Every top team in the West has one, with one notable exception...
Spurs: Green/Leonard
Thunder: Sefolosha
Clippers: Barnes
Grizzlies: Allen/Prince
Warriors: Iguodala
not sure Howard can actually carry a top 5 defense by himself these days, especially when his perimeter players like to gamble for steals...

We have Marion and we'll also be a top team next season with Calderon/VC/Marion/Dirk/Dalembert? and some decent role players we're going to sign with the remaining 15m space.
Shame the Rockets couldn't resign Dragic, they would be a much scarier team with him on board then with Lin.

Oh yes, they'll replace Harden with someone that can actually play D and swap Lin for Tony Allen.

Mavs reached .500 despite their horrible PG situation and Dirk missing 27 games. They'll do equal or better than the Lakers imo.

Now we have every reason to believe our team will come back to the playoffs with a decent PG on the backcourt. We reached .500 (which would be well enough to make playoffs in the East) even with no PG

Clips: Barnes is solid but far from an elite perimeter defender
Spurs: Green slighltly better than Barnes, but not elite KL though is legit
OKC. Thabo is very good just below elite
Warriors: Iggy is elite
Grizz: Tony Allen
Rox: Parsons?!
Denver: Wilson Chhandler?!
