What Happened to Signatures?

I'm sorry if this has been asked already, but what happened to all the Signatures. Some people seem to have them and others don't. Was there some sort of announcement about it? Were we supposed to dial them down a notch or risk losing them? Just wondering? Thanks in advance.

You can disable them in general settings or one by one by clicking on the cross at the right of the sig

I often untick the "show your signature" option when I'm not 100% satisfied with the post I've just written. If I can't put enough efforts into the post, I'd just let it be a short post and I don't see no need to show the signature under the 1-2 lines of writing just to make the post look big & decent, because it really isn't. I aspire to being a truthful person like my goddess.

I've also disabled the signature option on my control panel so I don't see no sig at all, because it's really boring and irritating when you wait 20-30 secs only to load a page filled with pics of tits and asses.
