Did the Warriors really get better? Jack, although a headache at times, played pretty well for them last year and allowed Curry to play off the ball. Landry was the spark off the bench and provided toughness. Warrior fans kept bragging about how awesome they'd be when Rush was finally healthy. Add in the fact that missing out on 2 future first rounders (and the inability to deal anymore in future deals) severely hampers their ability to improve and I'm not so sure Iggy's contributions will be a net positive. This move also limits Barnes' minutes and makes him play the 4 more.

Same ol same. [Insert young team] will be the next team to take over the West. A juggernaut loaded with young all-star talent ready to dethrone the old dogs of the West.

They lost two Spurs killers. Iggy will render Green useless, but thats ok.

Making RJ and Biedrins disappear was a neat trick, but I don't see how they're any better with Iggy than they were with Jack and Landry.

Golden State was 1st round fodder that benefited from playing an overrated, regular season Nuggets team in the 1st round(which most logical posters such as myself and DOK said all year) without Gallinari, tbh..

The Warriors will be 1st round fodder with the Clippers and Rockets improving IMO..

Agree with the above. Warriors got by a mediocre Denver team. Then, when the Spurs finally woke up that series was over. They were a flash in the pan kind of team that has now paid a lot of money for Iguodala, a player who has never improved a team in his life. We've probably heard the last of them.

Depends on Boguts health..he could barely walk at the end if that series..him and iggy gives them two super-elite defenders around the curry, Thompson, Barnes trio which is probly gonna continue to improve

They shouldn't have gotten rid of Jack and Landry. They're worse.

Notice too that GS caught a rusty Spurs team that had an injured Splitter. Honestly once Splitter came back, we should have won all three games in GS. They're a very limited team with WCF potential if they shoot lights out in two series. DLee is also a really bad fit there.

They need to find a way for Curry to play off the ball some and it won't be a terrible move. This makes them a pretty big team while not being terribly slow. Their defense has improved, but this seems to take them away from what looked to be a "young team building towards something" model. Iggy's age and necessary role really doesn't fit in with the rest of the team.

Plus if he loses more athleticism they'll be paying for two Richard Jeffersons.

The frnachise is going to riding on Curry, Thompson & Bogut. Iguodala is just icing on the cake.

Warriors put up a good fight against the spurs, and not getting DH will turn out to be a blessing to this team. They've got Iggy while their backcourt co-stars (curry and thompson) remain intact. I think this team will still be fighting for the 2nd round next season though it ain't gonna be easy. Rockets are overrated and I don't see a big gap between them and the Warriors, or the revamped mavs tbh.

Denver did a good job in taking them out. Had they accepted the sign-and-trade, then all Denver would have been out were the first-rounders. A Jack/MLE/Barnes/Landry/Ezeli second unit could have been good.

I'd say Iguodala is a lateral move for the Dubs, except they mortgaged their future and gutted their bench in order to overpay for him, and he's a questionable fit with them anyway, tbh....

warriors overpaid for AI2, if they needed a defensive specialist, theres plenty of guys who could that job for mle or lesser

The rockets owned the warriors last season. Plus they had already been together r a few years. Rockets finally get a full off-season.

I feel bad for Harrison Barnes, tbh..

His hype grew dramatically after being guarded by Gary Neal and Tony Parker for an entire series(still only shot 44%:lol)..now he has expectations for next year, which he won't live up to, especially now that he's replacing Jarrett Jack as the bench creator..

I don't think the warriors front office is done making moves. Not sure what they have in mind but they are aggressive when it comes to trying to make the team better. And resigning jack and Landry both was definitely not happening as you can see they both got pretty big deals. I think our biggest loss is mike Malone, he was the one making actual basketball coaching decisions. Jackson is pretty much just a motivator.
