Yall love to suck off Pau's play in Game 7 2010. But without the Artest formerly know as Ron No way we beat the Celts in 2010.

"Kobe passed me the ball! (he never passes me the ball) ... and I can hear Phil telling me "No" ...he didnt say it but I can hear him though with no microphone. Ron dont shoot. I said "whatever" ... And I shot the ball!"

"Hey people on the laptops ...acknowledge me!"

I will always remember Game 7 2010, Ron. Thank you.

Ron is a bad boy but has always been one of my favorite players who haven't ever played for us. He behaves bad but has a good heart inside just like my goddess, unlike the other SJ who's a thug from teeth to toes.

Artest just shut Pierce the fuck down that series. The Celtics offense got so stagnant when Pierce got the ball because Artest was all over his ass. Celtics would have mopped the floor with the Lakers in 2010 if they had even an above average perimeter defender in Artest's place that series.

He had a good game for sure and drives home the point that teams win championships, not individuals.

Pau really wasn't so dominant that he can carry a team with minimal help like Duncan in 03 Hakeem in 94 or Lebron in 13. He required the best second banana in the history of the league and other role players to step up to win b2b.

Of course, having a huge FTA disparity, especially in game 7, especially in the 4th quarter, but especially whine you are down helps immensely.

Dont forget the classic Kobe pass (tee hee) to Ron for the game winner in a very competitive and close series in 2010.

Busy working. Almost missed games 6 and 7, and has been traveling almost got sent to Russia for a week or two but client stopped it because the traveling will be too expensive.

As for the thread, I feel it was in topic. It was about how MWPs role helped the lakers and MVPau won b2b

Very sad announcement.

I love Ron Artest. He went to California-shredded the book that had been written of him-and then proceeded to write his own. There was no other choice, Media had indeed written his story and had absolutely no inclination, nor percentage to rewrite it in the blast of white light that Artest lit in Los Angeles. He'd convinced Kobe to take him in when he was at his end. He'd promised Kobe in the black water of the '08 Finals that he could help him avoid the abyss that threatened us, all of us. 2 years later he delivered on that promise. Artest took a scalpel and carved the heart out of the Celtics, sending them once again where Magic had sent them a quarter century back, into that same black water where they've now taken root.

I'm going to take the memory of that 3 and the memory of the ensuing press conference where Artest painfully and at length confessed to a career of cowardice in front of his bloodline. I'll take them on to the grave.

Metta World Peace…Wait, Dwight Howard's …Going to Houston?

Metta was leaving Mastro's in Beverly Hills on Saturday night with his GF Shin Shin when we asked how he felt about the move -- but to our surprise (and his), Metta told us he had NO IDEA Howard picked the Rockets. The reaction seems legit ... considering Shin Shin seemed just as shocked. "I don't know what happened," Metta said ... "He's going to Houston?"

Still crazy after all these years… :lol

YOu are silly. It's just liek with Duncan. You watch a great player flash occasional glimpses of a time whne they were the best in the game. I do watch for the team, love of the sport etc. But again I aint paying for League Pass or Tix at Staples. Dont be dense.

You thought it would get easier by now.

^He reached his potential and found peace, not the goofy nickname, but, a genuine peace, the roiling stopped, the running stopped and he redeemed his soul. I fervently hope someday that Kobe finds that same peace and the redemption for his sins.

I'm happy tonite, yes. I remember the nite of 17 June 2010. His brother stalking Staples bellowing repeatedly "What does he have to do now? What does he have to do now!" A catharsis had taken place. Ron Artest, who shit every bed he'd ever slept in had rung, by his own hand. But, he had not forgotten where he'd messed. He took a gross of Clorox Bleach, a mop and a bucket and he disinfected every place he'd ever shit. He did it. Not his lackey, not his wife, not his agent, not Kupchak, not John Black, he did, Ron Artest did. He cleaned up after himself.

I'll take that to the grave.
