Hearing: Even before they passed on Andrew Bynum, I'm told Mavs formally reached out to Greg Oden camp this week to formally join Oden race

I am curious to see if he is able to stay healthy, time away from Portland may have reversed the mystical grasp the city has on his knees.

Oden would be a decent backup for Dalembert, or vice versa (if Oden somehow stays healthy and lives up to his full potential in Dallas). Thank you, Donnie :toast

If even Oden turns the Mavs down, Cuban might as well just sell the team in disgrace, tbh :lol

Dirk ain't going nowhere. I believe if he really wants to go he will be shown the green light anyday, but he already has a ring so he doesn't need to ride Lebron or someone's coattail to win 1 or 2 more which would only hurt his legend imho. Honest I don't see Dirk would ever cry for a trade even without a ring. He has been with the team through thick and thin, and his loyalty to our team is worth way more than a championship ring.

You say that now but 8-8 with an inevitable Romo pick-6 to end all playoff hopes will remind you how shitty it's gotten.

Yep, it's damn misery gettin' one in-a-row. 2 in-a-row? Takes a handful of NBA stalwarts to shit a bed in unison. A triple:::Kobe Bryant

So, even though Kobe had a decent Finals for once, Shaq was still much better
Just admit that you're a Kobe stan, you leave out the Finals MVP and talk 2000-2002 like Kobe delivered them on his own when in fact he was a role player the first championship and a 2nd banana in other finals series.

My theory on why bigs don't like Dallas. They know they have to do a lot of the dirty work since Dirk doesn't protect the basket.

Nah, I guess the main reason good bigs don't want to play anymore in Dallas is because they realized that the owner will most likely not recognize/reward their contributions even after winning a championship or at least make it to the playoffs, which is already an exemplary achievement for the Mavs' standards from now on.

maybe we can bring back that chink Yi and play him at C, if we miss out on both Oden and Dalembert. Wang Zhizhi is still balling so maybe we should bring him back too. At least Zhizhi and Yi would help us beat Houston in the popularity contest among chink fans.
