eh.. decent lineup but i'm not blown away this year. i'll definitely check it out but i'll wait for the full lineup including comedy and schedule to come out and probably just buy a day pass this year. did PIP last year and it was fun but don't see myself investing 325 on this lineup, plus i was wore the fuck out by sunday.

I'm honestly just curious, but at what age does one become too old for such an event?

Already going t o ACL, but I might have to break the bank for FFF again this year. Television, Sparks, Kurt Vile, King Khan, Bill Callahan, Slayer, Descendents . . . and again there is a whole stage I can totally avoid.

Whoah, Dismemberment Plan reunion? Pretty cool, but I won't be going to this. This is a notch above ACL as far as crappy festivals go.

Depends on the person. At 35 I'm still open to them, but have noticed that in the last few years I'm FAR more likely to pick the best day than I am to go for several in a row.

This. Any day long event that requires a lot of standing, drinking and walking in the heat basically wipes me out for the next 48 hours or so. Being in your mid-thirties is like standing just the other side of the door of all those things you used to do. You start a day like that thinking like you used to think and end the day realizing where you really are.

They tire me out more than they used to, but for me it's even more about how much other shit I have to do and how much all the other drunken assholes at music festivals annoy the crap out of me.

Are they doing PIP passes anymore? I did that in 2011 and it was worth the extra fee.
