Not a bad move for Dallas imho. accompanying dirk with two beta males wouldn't guarantee us anything anyways and the cost of Triple D would be huge. the current DMC combo (Dirk, Monta, Carter) has a much better price-quality ratio and is also capable of getting us back to the playoffs. We wouldn't be able to challenge Miami anyways even with quadruple D (add baby Drew to our squad as DH's backup), and I'm gonna be content with what we've already got.
in DMC we trust :toast

Should've just tanked tbh. With these signings they're good enough to make the 7th or 8th seed. That's NBA purgatory. Unless you're a young, up-and-coming team, which the Mavs are not. Now they guarantee to be slightly above average until Dirk retires imo.
I think Cuban panicked and tried to salvage the situation after his plan to let Tyson handler walk and sign a top-tier FA backfired tbh.

in fact we've been working with DMC for 2 years already, and we're going to welcome the new DMC combo this summer
The old DMC: Dirk-Marion-Carter
the new DMC: Dalembert-Monta-Calderon
we'll have two DMCs for the next season and we are STACKED!!!

because we've already got a DMC in our managing & coaching staff, Donnie-Mark (Cuban)-Carlisle.
