Spurs have an awful lot of 3pt shooters now and it makes me feel jealous. We're a "jump shooting team" and now our best 3pt shooter is Dirk, Calderon or VC? Blair wasn't the best big on their squad but he could be a better solution than anyone of his teammate to certain types of bigs. I envision they spurs will have troubles dealing with Al Jerfferson type of bigs, while the likes of Beli and Miller will have a dogfight for 10-15 of rotational minutes per game. It's not only a waste of talent, but also a waste of money as you pay 7m to a pair of luggage carriers.

It's like trading your coal for an ice-cream in a cold winter imho. *no racist* Blair is one of my favorite non-mav players and maybe I'm just salty that they hadn't traded him to us, never mind.

Blair isn't a bad bench player. His problem is he doesn't know his role. He wants starting minutes and lots of playing time despite being selfish with the ball and not playing a modicum of defense. I loved him during his rookie season but his lack of improvement(from a defensive standpoint) was really frustrating to watch. He can go off against certain frontlines, but most of the time he's a dumb POS.

Sad but true.

Why do people keep hoping for Blair on this team? It is a foregone conclusion he is leaving and that the Spurs really don't want him. I don't understand some of the crazy posts on this site!

"he puts them over the top" :lmao :lmao :lmao

yes, a team that has won back-to-back championships and sports the best player in the game along with Wade, Bosh, and Allen is going to be put into another level of greatness by adding 6/5 big man DeJuan Blair :lol
