It seems they still take time at least once a day to take turns bending over to allow themselves to be brutalized by a passer by that they can give the favor back to. Any outsider attempting to interrupt this painful give and take is not tolerated and is met with swift, punitive action. They can only give themselves to each other. Not sure when that will change.
