The main thing that scares me about adopting a state income tax is there would be no way to roll back the property tax rates as a compensatory action. Same for the 10,000 fees and licensing costs in Tx.

but but but ... TX is such a wonderful place to do business! :lol

And TX invests so much in its students so there is a highly skilled workforce! (bottom of the USA in spending per student)
