View Full Version : Spurs: How can Spurfan make fun of 6/24 when their own Duncan went 10/27 and won the FMVP?

Ginobili had just as big of an impact in that series as Pau Gasol had in 2010. If Spurfan thinks Gasol is the true FMVP, and that Kobe has just one legitimate FMVP, then they better not fuckin' spin this 10/27 performance from Duncan. And then they make fun of Kobe having won just 2 NBA titles as the alpha man, despite the fact that Tim was CARRIED by Ginobili and Parker in the 05 and 07 Finals, respectively.

Just a pathetic display from Spurs fans, per par.

Many a spurs fans will agree that Manu could have gotten finals MVP in 05 except that Duncan was still our leadin scorer, rebounder, shotblocker, and defensive anchor on what was a defense-oriented team

I dare say, the new champion of salty is this ol' sport. Salty because your team is the prime definition of "one and done"? More so, the worst example of "one and done" in the modern era.

Tim = borderline top 5 center in NBA history, 3* rings to show for, wrongfully considered the GOAT PF when he ain't a PF

Kobe= top 2 SG ever, 5 rings to show for.

MJ = GOAT, Tim Duncan = Top 10 all-time, and Kobe = Top 15 all-time, doesn't even make the top 5 Laker of all time :lmaoThat's right. Wilt Chamberlain, Kareem, Magic, Shaq, and Jerry West are all better than Kobe. :rollin

Never watched a clip.

Who cares shooting 40% or below 3 times in the Finals is fucking horrible even for a SG, prime Kirby 09 Finals despite having a good series shot 42%, the best he ever shot as a #1 option on a Finals team (MJ's worst I believe was 43% at 33-34 yrs old vs Payton's Sonics).

Seriously, it's abysmal.

It's that assist. That refusal to go down the path you wanted him to go down and launch it. Uh, uh. Nope. Not that night, daddy. Not on your sweet bippy.

Ok, so timmy was an anchor, why does no one talk about how that series vs the celtics, kobe grabs 15 big rebounds, and who ever won the rebounding game, won the game. So he contributed where it was needed. also Kobe had hit the wall that series, 3 straight finals... father time caught up with him eventually. He needed to rest, and juice up that fucking knee tbh. So you guys need to settle the fuck down. Point of it was he knocked down a big shot at the end, some big freethrows and that helps the TEAM rang...
