As the title says, who had a better showing at this year's Summer League? What did each player show you that they could do with a starter's minutes, and what about their game impressed you the most? Also, rank Patty, Neal, Cojo and De Colo in terms of who you think should be backing up Tony at the point guard spot next season.

Neither was very impressive IMHO.

I like Mills as the back-up point, because he is a far superior scorer than both De Colo and Cojo, he has sufficient handles, his court vision could get better, but his weakness is his lack of size and length, although he always fights hard to defend, and sometimes does a very good job. He's also faster than both.

If Neal could dribble 10x better than he did last season, he could be a PG, but he can hardly bring it up the court, and pretty much can't defend any other PG in the league.

If Patty can score like he did in 2012 and during the Olympics, I wouldnt be opposed to having him back up TP. I like CoJo's defense though so he's still my #1 option.

CoJo
Patty

Nando

Yes, Cojo's defense is outstanding. If he can show more poise, and scoring ability, then I'd like him over Mills. I wish Mills defended as well as Corey, and Corey scored as well as Mills. In a perfect world..

Turnovers aside, I think CoJo played really well in the SL. Too bad he got injured and became a non-factor. IMHO, his TOs weren't that bad. They were because of him being aggressive, and not trying to make risky passes a la Nando/Manu. Still, he's gotta work on being in control when he's trying to be aggressive.
