You'll don't have to watch the BruceBlitz videos but definitely watch the third video. This proves how pathetic of a defender Kobe Bryant is and that he only cherry picks National TV games to play defense. The fact that Kobe has made it to the NBA All-Defensive teams year after year is a crime!

BB the Laker hater :lol

But TBH this is how I see it :

- Kobe is better defender than Nash ..... but the problem with him is that he is not comitted to D every night .... but when he wants to play D, he is not bad at all

- Nash : tries to play D every night ... the problem is that no matter how hard he is trying, he just sucks at it

I detest using highlights. It gives way to extreme bias by letting people pick and choose things they want to show. In most cases, what is shown is not representative at all.

Based on defensive ratings, Kobe was better than Steve Nash on defense last year, and the comparisons are legit because they are on the same team. In fact, Kobe was even better than Steve Blake and antawn jamison on defense! Of the eight regulars on the lakers, Kobe was an impressive fifth on his own team. That is marginal starter quality right there.

But TBH this is how I see it :

- Kobe is better defender than Nash ..... but the problem with him is that he is not committed to D every night .... but when he wants to play D, he is not bad at all

- Nash : tries to play D every night ... the problem is that no matter how hard he is trying, he just sucks at it

too bad that amounts to about 100 minutes for the entire season, including all star games :lmao

Kobe just doesn't bother to play much defense but when he does want to play some D he's one of the best defensive players in the league. But if you are the coach you'd also tell him to play less D in order to save the energy for offense. Dude has been selected to the all-NBA defensive team multiple times which speaks for itself
