TBH, I think the forum needs this. For the past idiotic statements, current, and future. God Bless sons.

First, Gasol is 32 and coming from a great olympic performance, you make it sound like he's 39. Second, you can't double team a starting five loaded with stars without paying the price. Nash is a huge offensive upgrade at the point, a veteran with playoff experience that can shoot and dish and is great in the clutch. Also, LAL's bench is legit now with some good shooters, no more white scrubs.
So you just expect to end up on the winning side against a Dwight/Gasol frontcourt combo, when miami struggled against Hibbert, the same Hibbert you say took miami to 7 :lol

The butthurt is way too strong to troll right now.
Looking forward to see dat nicca Drew beasting on those east coast niggas with his newly acquired 1st option touches tbh :toast
Since all we have done this offseason is upgrade laterally.
$1000.00 the Lakers get past the 2nd round next year.
Your mouth yaps... Let's see if your willing to back it up.
Sounds like a lot af backpeddling and excuses to me. Kobe is going to be older and worse this year. Shall we bring up your hundreds of Kobe is shit posts over the offseasn? :lol
Im outta here. I just know you would post this thread and wanted another laugh at your expense.
Good luck next season with your Spurs!
17 on the way! :lobt2:
You know me. I am a die hard homer Laker fan. I think they are going to the finals every year and I am right half the time. I think they are going to win those when they do and I am right half the time there too. Not a bad record over my lifetime if I so say so myself.
I think they have a great shot at winning it all. They are going to have a full camp for one. They brought Eddie Jordan to run the offense and are going Princeton. Regarless of what the butthurt Midget says, Nash and Howard were not lateral moves. Anyone stating so is a moron. I understand his motivation though. I find a lot of humor in it.
We improved the bench with Jamison. We resigned Hill who is a decent backup and only had a hanful of games with the team and did quite well. We could use one more backup shooter with range. I would actually welcome Barbosa as I see him as a good fit in a reserve roll. I don't think the Lakers are done.
Several points. Kobe is going to have to realize hes not going to get 25+ shots. I think he is finally at the point of his career that he will be willing to play a less ball dominant role. They have guys now that wont wilt under pressure and look to him to bail them out either. Well see. The Princeton offense is ideal for Pau's skills. He wilted last year with Bynum handling the ball more. I see a better year for him.
Howard was an ideal pickup with regards to the way the team is constructed as is. With Nash's well known less than stellar defence and Kobe getting slower Howards D is much better than Drews. Drew played decent help D and could clog the lanes. Teams figured it out and pulled him out on the switches and he got beat. Howard is a much better one on one defender and moves much quicker. On offense. Bynum has better post moves. Howard is a better pick and roll player and will get more hustle garbage points. What would you rather have with Nash and Kobe in the back court. It is not even close to a lateral move when considering the direction they are taking. Howard can run the floor a whole lot better than Drew too.
The Lakers have a sweet squad. Brown can concentrate on D. Eddie can take the offense. Kobe if he is smart will realize he will get more total points career wise by slowing down and playing less mins with this squad and extending his career maybe another year or two. Nash, Howard, and Jamison are all very hungry. We shall see. You always need luck and the injury gods to be on your side.
I really like our chances.
It's definately an upgrade. Dwight plays hard every night and won't be doing stupid shit like jacking up threes or making idiotic comments to give teams bulletin board material. Bottom line is Bynum plays hard when he wants to. You need players going at 100% effort in the playoffs and Bynum is not that guy. Howard has a motor that never seems to stop. That will make a difference.
Miami is the 2nd oldest team in the league....and they just beat OKC....LA should have no issues :lol
Damn straight, Kobe will drop so many dimes. Granted those dimes will be attempted shots at the basket which Dwight will grab & slam down :lol
I heard Lebron shoots like 38% against Dwight's defense...Heat fans melting down over this trade...Dwight doesn't care for Wade and Lebron and he goes into beast mode...man with Pau, Nash, and Kobe he should wreck shop...
It's kinda hard for Dwight not to foul out when the refs whistle clean blocks.

Bitter old man is extra bitter since the Dwight trade. Can't blame him tbh with the spurs going into the fetal position and crying first, then when they finally decide to do something, they start auditioning scrubs :lmao
The Lakers won the Summer? :rollin
How does it feel knowing the lakers are goin to Winn the next 4 championships HahahhHh
Nigga please we have the most dangerous team in the nba... No chance tbh
Lebron better start practicing those jumpers :lol
He would choose to watch the Delonte/Momma James sex tape, than going near the paint with Dwight patrolling :lol
Best starting 5 in nba tbh
we have a big 4 plus Jamison and pitbull Artest..all we need now is Barbosa and Kenyon and it's OVA..it's fucking Over you hear me...:lol
After all that has happened this year, i expect the Lakers to beat the Spurs in 6 and than will beat Denver or GS in the second round tbh, but will lose to OKC or clippers in 5, If the mamba was playing we would make it to the finals.. oh well

This must be like a dream for Nash. He has all the tools at his disposal. Howard is the perfect big for Nash to play with. They are going to pick and roll teams to death.
Making it too obvious he's going to resign
Bynum has the tools to be great but his main problem is inconsistency and his "I don't give a fuck" attitude. On the other hand, Dwight's effort is always there, on both ends and every game and that's the type of players you want in a playoff run.
If the deal goes through, i'm looking forward to see what Bynum does as a 1st option in a weak ass eastern conference tbh.
As for Mitch, he officially reached PIMP status :hat
If this is as reported, obviously a great deal for the Lakers. Mitch does it again. :toast
Bynum will dominate the east, tbh. He doesn't have to deal with Howard, McGoo, Blake/Jordan, etc for more than twice a season.
djohn the Rockets are fucked - lolololololololol
Not a done deal. League approval pending ...fucken stern!!!
Working on a major presentation for work tomoorow but if the trade gets done, I will be viewing the Clutch City forums. Pretty sure the silver lining will be they kept the White version of Pippen (Parsons).
Spurs are fucked...I would be so discouraged if i were spur fan...but you guys did get Capt Jack, Diaw, and Patty Rice Cakes...so this was only fair for the Lakers
