Between O'Neal and Duncan, Shaq had won trice as the #1 in a row while Duncan twice seperatly. Both players were the reason for their team's success, Shaq had more success.

However, from 99-2003 Duncan had won 2 rings and he was about 6 years younger than Shaq then and Spurs owned Lakers in 03 so there's that. I think Duncan and Shaq from late 90s to 2003 were pretty close in my opinion. Though Shaq obviously was dominant with his 30 point 15 rebound averages in the playoffs.

What does Achilles have to do with this subject? :lol

Perhaps had Shaq kept motivated and in playing shape, he would have won more than 4 rings.

Easily between Tim and Shaq. Both have 4 titles, both have 3 finals MVP's. Tim held a franchise together and shaq got his 3peat while the spurs were in transition as the Admirals game was in rapid decline. Once the "new age" spurs came together, though Tim was able to clean house, winning 3 titles in 5 years. Even though TP won fMVP in 07, its foolish to argue that it wasn't Duncan's team.

Well, faggot Laker fans ruined the NBA forum, had Spurs not fucked up in the Finals it would be great, unfortunately 6 happened.

Are you incapable of reading? The question was do people discuss basketball seriously, I didn't ask who ruined the forum. Or is this another troll board, Is the Spurs forum the same? For someone who thinks they ruined the NBA Forum, and having a picture of their biggest player as your avatar, looks like you are asking for attention from the Laker fans.

Duncan gets most votes supposedly. The election is biased to begin with, like making a poll of "who's the most beautiful woman alive in the world" on Scarlett-fan.com

This is totally unbiased and no one significant from that era is left out. Shaq is a viable option but objective basketball fans seem to lean towards Duncan.

I doubt people outside of this site agree with this statement, but i enjoy your opinion either way.

although the poll was made in the NBA forum, the majority of fans here are still registered as spurs fans. And the poll doesn't include Kobe who would also be a strong candidate alongside Dirk and Shaq imho.

If the poll was NOT biased, then it must be Duncan's sexual orientation that earned him such a landslide victory knowing that most Spurstalkers are obsessed with gay-related stuffs.
