agree, Rockets are WAY overrated imho I'd put them in the same class with Mavs and Warriors for the coming season unless they manage to get rid of Rin and by the way convert Asik into a signifcant upgrade to the starting lineup. When you're in a 100-metre race, the 90m mark is only halfway imho

Sometimes I swear I feel like these media sources don't know shit about ball. Seriously... Didn't we sweep the Clippers? Jj redicks gonna make them beat us right? Lol we always get overlooked. And next year when we go far they're just gonna count us out the next yr

What's the odds that Kobe actually raped a man in disguise? I'd say 6/40.

Anyone who keeps up with sports gambling would know that the Vegas odds are pretty much always in favor of the ESPN favorites.

I'm not sure how the Spurs were looking back in the original championship run, but I'd say they were underdogs then, too.

Spurs Fan is the epitome of the the proverbial worry wart and the most insecure champion I've ever encountered. And it's not just the impact of 6. No way, they suffered before that. A quick cruise upstairs lays bare their pathology, but, this thread exposes their weaknesses as well. They're a case study for sure.

the list is full of stupidity imho. OKC were castrated by the departure of beard, they still belong in the 2nd tier with Clippers and Memphis but the Spurs will remain the team to beat in the west imho. The current Rockets aren't much better than the team they were during 05-09 so a playoff spot in the #5-#7 range will be the most realistic expectation for the coming season imho.

1st tier: Spurs
2nd tier: Clippers, Memphis, OKC
3rd tier: Mavs, Warriors, Rockets

Rockets took OKC to 6 games and could have easily gone to 7.

Mavs didn't even make it into the playoffs

argument is invalid. Mavs are fools gold trick, only thing going for them is signing fresh blood in monta with dirk coming back one year older.

If you really think rockets and mavs are same tier, put up a bet to see who finishes with better record , rockets or mavs

What are the odds in a 100 of Ray Allen maniacally backing into that space without touching a line?

Can you take the other side of these lines? I'd put down $2200 to win $100 that the Knicks would not win the title. Easy money.

Miami could force a game 6, but either way this shit is over unfortunately.

Always bet on teams you don't want to win, so at least you get some compensation if they do, tbh..

Vegas seemingly thought a team that was 28 seconds away from a championship isn't as likely to win next year's title as a shitty 1-man team like the Bulls
