Yep, to Lipscomb, a sad story.

Nice mention of "Tank" Holmes, later to the Chiefs. Stram had a humongous offensive line, big, tall white farm boys with Morris Stroud the 6'8" TE closing the right tackle. He'd have them stand tall at the offensive line, drop into the 3 point stance, then collectively raise their asses into the air to shield and hide his diminutive core of rb's as they shifted low twixt the tackles. Holmes being one of those along with Mike Garrett, among others. Holmes was indeed a "tank", but a short, stout one.
