Wow, you're going to catch a lot of idiots with this thread, plus irrational people who only want to see what they want to see, and blame casters (stone throwers?), as well as the usual contingent of :troll s.
I will go on record, especially since I am neither a Manu lover or hater, in saying that even though he choked (and wasn't the only one who choked) this last playoffs, I still appreciate what he has done for this franchise over the years and glad he will retire a Spur. And I am very proud of our Spurs, all of them for exceeding all expectations!

Manu's a hall of famer and one of the most entertaining players ever to watch.

Some nights he'll give you 25 and 10, some he'll shoot 1-7 from 3 along with 7 turnovers.

As he ages, the good nights will get less frequent. Just a warning.

Agree, as he ages weŽll see more and more games like game 6, even Wade who is a crippled pos played way better to seal the ring in game 7

Not a good time to make this thread, with all the haters trashing Manu because they can't get no dick. Being said that, I'm glad the Spurs brought back a Hall of Famer, one of the best international players ever and a living legend.

So you are saying we are jealous on Manu because he gets lots of dicks?

You could have posted a more recent video of Manu like this year's Finals gm 6 or the GSW buzzer beater. Those videos are like it happened during stone age, a very long time ago. It's saddening that we'll most probably get to see Manu play great very rarely.

If Manu had retired from NBA ball in 2012 and focused only on Argentina he'd be be fondly remembered. Instead, he makes bullshit FIBA ball for Argentina top priority while stealing 14 million from the Spurs just so he could miss 40 games a season and sabotage the team come playoff time.

Ray Allen at 3 million a year is a better player than Manu at 14 million a year. Of course, I'm mad about that. Who wouldn't be? SA paid a guy star money and he played worse than a role player on the opposing team.

I Love the way he plays right now:
he's not forcing much as he used to, he's letting the game come to him.

All he needs to do is to show the level of the current play in the postseason and help Spurs get the 5th ring.
If he can consistently average 13 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists in the playoffs, Spurs will win all the way.

When he's bringing the ball up the court, that balding head of his up high, scanning the floor, calculating geometric angles, momentum, inertia, probability, man it is edge of your seat. I'm not kidding, my heart pounds when I see him bringing the ball up the floor like that. If you're here you know what I mean, Manu Ginobili is a major reason that I like NBA basketball. If he were a boxer, he would be a throwback to the era when you either won, or you went out on your shield. He's Thomas 'Hit Man' Hearns, he's Julian 'The Hawk' Jackson. You would know that one way or another, somebody's ass was getting knocked out. I used to be a HUGE boxing fan, but nowadays I refuse to pay PPV to watch a guy dance around and avoid taking a hit to his earning potential. Manu Ginobili represents the right thing about sports.
