How many ppg, rpg, etc will each Spur have per game next year

Too much work.

The beauty about sports being played by actual athletes is that they ultimately have the power to render stats meaningless.

Why is everyone adding up all the player averages? A teams average scoring is not equal to the sum of all players average scoring on the team. Due to injuries, DNP's, trades, activations and deactivations etc. it will never be equal. Only way it can be is if all players played in all 82 games, which is ludicrous.

If you add the ppg for last year's Spurs it's ~ 133

This is the year we will grow to appreciate Manu = the Point Guard and Belinelli = the Scorer.

Manu's going to take a page from Tim's book and turn back time. What you unappreative suffering tards don't understand is: Manu hasn't been healthy nor found his rhythm for many years, but he rips it up in practice (thus the reason for the playing time and extension).

He's Manu Ginobili.

This year Pop was 1-1 in giving away titles...100%. I think this year he may not sit Timmy again in the final minute...so he'll be shooting 50%.

I have a bridge to sell you...

All of you (now that I see that 12 PPG for Manu is the normative prediction in this thread).

TheGoldStandard is the only one who made a reasonable prediction regarding Manu's stats (8/4/4). I think that's much closer to what we can expect from Manu this year.

You guys do realize that he'll only average around 20 MPG right?

I think we could well see the Medium Three average almost as many PPG as the Big Three next season. Leonard seems good for 14 or 15; Green will probably get 12 or 13 and Splitter will probably get 13-15 himself. I know that seems high (especially for Splitter), but honestly, with the B3 getting even older, the M3 need to start taking more of the load. Let's hope that Joseph finds a way to step up and make it the Medium Four next season.

You haven't taken into account the players who only play in garbage time. For example, Baynes may only play in 20 games in garbage time next season, and in garbage time, he may average 7 pts and 5 rebds. This doesn't neccessarily mean that the Spurs average 133 points per game. My knowledge of "statistics" is hella' rusty, so I won't be able to explain it in mathematical terms. :bang
