It would make sense that he had been suspended for his comments of PEDd if the prominence of them in the league is as significant as we are lead to believe. Without drugs, players are injured longer and have a lower ceiling, it would make sense to encourage PED use in the NBA.

I sometimes question Jordan's retirement, he was a gambling addict and basketball was the only way he could pay for his addiction. David Stern could very well have told him to clean up his act and Jordan attempted to use baseball to his aaddiction - which failed and lead to his capitulation.
