:lol this is the type of employee I would hire any day of the week..and if he threatened to leave I'd throw the farm at him to stay. there was no PED's involved the guy is a psycho :lol

Kobe Bryant has made it clear this summer that he has progressed rapidly from his torn Achillies.

The Los Angeles Lakers' star said recently that he has "shattered" the normal recovery time of the injury.

“The surgical procedure was different ... and because of that the recovery has been different,” Bryant said. “The normal timetable for recovery from an Achilles, we’ve shattered that. Three-and-a-half months I can already walk just fine, I’m lifting weights with the Achilles just fine and that’s different.

"So we don’t know what that timetable is going to be. It’s kind of new territory for us all.”

Kobe Bryant's recovery rate likely equated to some form of chemical therapy - illegal or perhaps yet to be illegal. We cannot let fandom cloud the reality that these injuries are not supposed to heal this fast for even the most genetically gifted of individuals.

This is why Laker fans have been going crazy lately. I think they forgot that the 2013 Finals was basically a funeral for their boy Kirby. No matter the outcome Kirby's legacy gets destroyed, Duncan wins one and the Kirby 5 Duncan 4 is done with, Lebron wins and he has as many alpha rings as Kirby and more MVPs and will pass him in total pts rebs ast stls blks in a matter of years

Timmy might be gay but at least he's a GOAT PF, Kirby will forever be known as 2nd best SG and the 4th best player of his era after Duncan,Shaq,Lebron

Chasing that scoring record HARD!

One of the hardest working player in NBA history. In fact, no other player in the history of the league worked harder to will his body to full recovery than Kobe Bryant.

This is true. NBA needs more players like Kirby who are willing to do anything to be the best they can be. Kirby established himself as the 2nd GOAT SG and one of the greatest bananas, an achievement only a few will ever match.

Here's the one of the greatest 2nd bananas

Is that why Shaq was better in PER, DWS, OWS, WS (playing 13 less games in the regular season to boot), Usage rate, DRtg, ORtg and TS% in both the regular season and the playoffs, playing on the same team, in 2002.

To top it off, Shaq only had worse WS, DWS, and OWS in the RS than Kobe in 2003 because Shaq played 15 less games in 2003, beating him in every advanced stat by a significant margin in the playoffs.

Maybe at your old age, you fail to grasp the concept of time.

But just so you know, Shaq and Kobe split 2004. 2002 happened before that, because the way the calendar was set up, a bigger number means a later date. Since 2004 > 2002, 2004 happened AFTER 2002.

The surgical procedure was different = The surgical procedure was less understood and tested = Let's see if the extremely fast recovery comes apart again after a month or two of NBA basketball...

its a bit easier i guess considering Daddy was in his prime while he was busy carrying sonny boy to 3. shaq's age caught up to him in the coming years to the point where D-Wade actually was Miami's best performer in 06
