Brandon Jennings is excited for the passing opportunities that will be presented to him with the frontcourt of Andre Drummond, Josh Smith and Greg Monroe.

“They’re going to make my job a lot easier, and of course I’m going to make their job a lot easier,” Jennings said on Tuesday. “I guess you could say we can bring Lob City to Detroit this year.”

“I definitely have to change my game for this team,” Jennings said. “We have a bunch of great players.

“The things I was doing in Milwaukee, I won’t have to do here – take all those bad shots – because we have so many pieces.”

if jennings plays or at least attempts to play like a decent pg, the pistons may actually make the playoffs.

They used the 8th overall pick on a SG.

I follow basketball, this I know. But what I'm saying is it isn't a certainty he starts. Perhaps KCP does, and plays exceptional, but it's still an area of need in my opinion.

At least he admitted for the sum of his career he's been chucking and not looking to pass. He has the talent to change up his style so it's not unfathomable.

He's a solid player and I'd take him over Wall any day. I think he's going to have a career high year.

They could actually be better than the clippers because Detroits frontcourt > Clippers frontcourt.

Detroit's front-court may be more well-rounded than the Clippers...but it is definitely not better suited for the lob city blueprint.

The Clippers have two of the best above-the-rim bigmen in Griffin and Jordan. They also have Paul, who is a superstar point guard who requires help in the post. It's the perfect recipe for the 'oop.

Agreed. Paul is elite at going to the rim. Jennings is mostly an outside jumpshooter, a streaky one at that. Unless Jennings has a driving game we don't know about -- not to mention becomes as unselfish as Kobe Johnson mid season -- oops ain't happenin.'

You'd take Jennings over Wall, huh? Would you also be fucking his wife while he's working to buy her a new purse?

tbh if I could choose I'd rather have Jennings instead of Ellis, dude's younger and has a higher ceiling, and he can dish out 20+ assists in a certain game which's amazing. dude has the potential to be one of the top guards up there together with the likes of John Wall and my nigga Irving tbh
