Gotta love NBATV for showing such classics like Lakers vs. Spurs game 5 in 2004 over and over again. They never show the year before.

I don't have NBAtv, but I'd love to gauge that game out of my memory. However, that was probably one of the more intene emotional rollercoasters I went on in such a short period of time.

The .5 dagger the Spurs delivered to the Sonics this year pretty much did it for me. After all, .5 > .4

I loved game 5 of 2003 where Horry missed the final shot and looked like he was gonna cry afterwords. That was awesome

NBATV is awesome but it pisses me off to see them always talking about the lakers and now they are always talking about the heat.

nbatv is cheap, otherwise, I'd drop it after I've recorded some of their Classic games, Johnny Hoops interviews with HoFers (watched Bill Bradley yesterday, excellent), and films. I see tey've got some new graphics now, so maybe they'll make good improvements for next season.

NBA League Pass is expensive, and worth every penny.

I used to have nbatv when I had satellite. I've got mediacom cable and they don't carry nbatv. Kinda sucks.

and NBAtv is so much better if you have digital cable that allows you to rewind so you can watch your favorite moments of the game over and over again

nbatv carries almost no NBA season games, not even 1 game per night, compared to League Pass' 4 to 8 games every night, and nbatv carries no playoff games.

It doesn't carry many games but it has many different analyst with different views on how teams are doing. I got it with the nba league pass which a bonus for what league pass shows. You get almost all of the games there on league pass. They also show summer league games that are going on right now.

I remember watching some promos for early round playoff games for nbatv

nbatv does carry some playoff games the day or so after, but no real-time playoff games.

LP is expensive but quite tempting. Each year I think about it. But so far I have stuck with my other option -- NBA TV. It gives me enough regular season games at a price I can live with. I know I don't have the time to watch 4-8 games every night (wish I could), so I really wouldn't get my money's worth with LP. I think that's what ultimately stops me from ordering. As for the playoff games -- you get those with basic cable service. The nice thing is that during the playoffs, NBA Tv does have plenty of playoff coverage - including live media sessions. They re-run the coverage several times, so if I miss it "live" I can see the replay later.
