St. Peters Steak N' Shake customer said cashier put "Black Guy" on receipt (http://www.kmov.com/news/local/Steak-N-Shake-customer-said-cashier-put-Black-Guy-on-receipt--219605731.html)
(KMOV) -- A St. Charles man said he is disappointed after he said he was disrespected by an employee at a St. Peters restaurant.
Kent Shanks went to the Steak ‘N Shake located in the 3900 block of Mexico Rd. and ordered a strawberry shake and a burger.
After finishing his meal, Shanks walked up to the cashier. That’s when he noticed the employee working the register listed his name on the receipt as, “BLACK GUY”.
“I couldn’t believe it. My jaw completely dropped open,” Shanks told News 4 on Wednesday.
Shanks said he was surprised the cashier, also an African-American, would do that.
“My adrenaline kicked in and I just wanted to leave the restaurant as quickly as possible. I couldn’t even eat all the food,” he said.

In 2013... I thought we were past all this. Can't black people just describe other black people in Steak n' Shake by the content of their character? Or maybe the cashier should have just used "Bald guy."
