I just realized that if Magic didn't retire early (he was 32), he could've been the GOAT. Let's remember that Magic was already considered the greatest prior to Michael Jordan's ascent. If he spent more time playing basketball instead of banging men, he could've easily won more than five titles. His health was clearly declining because he already had the debilitating disease. It was amazing to see Magic lead his team to the Finals despite playing sick in the last years of his career. Thoughts?

If Magic were healthy, meaning he didn't have HIV against the Bulls, anything could've happened. He had solid numbers despite having HIV. Jordan played through flu, but Magic fucking Johnson played through HIV. Just incredible.

Their running game was a huge part of their success in the 80's

And the reason they got to the Finals in 91 was the fact that the early 90's Blazers were one of the biggest underaching teams ever, world class chokers
