Bayern not playing very well the last couple of games, but I think the upcoming clash with Real had a lot to do with that. Bayern won the league early and I think nobody wanted to risk further injury. At least I hope so. But it's a dangerous game. Let's hope Bayerns switch isn't as rusty as the Lakers Playoff switch was last season...
I bet both Penaldo and Bale will play, toughing it up like a certain warrior.

Real could have scored more, Bayern had not many chances. (BTW, that Müller wanted a penalty was sad)
Their style was just about right, let Bayern controll the ball and play good defnese. After that, go quick to the offense and create chances.
In 1 week both Ronaldo and Bale should be at 100% and that helpst their counter attack style. Still, it will be very tough!

Ancelotti is the key for Real Madrid. He is a heck of a coach. In the past years, RM had a lot of stars, but no discipline or any sort of defensive effort.
He transformed an attacking machine full of stars into a disciplined team with a solid defensive scheme. He completed destroyed Guardiola and his tik tika.

Midget needs to have one heck of a WC to close in, but Argentina is not winning the WC. Too bad because Leo is my favorite player, it will suck him retiring without a WC. Respects to Ronaldo though, he works his ass off every time he steps on the pitch, something you can't say about Leo nowadays, Ronaldo maybe not be as talented as Leo, but he sure makes up for it with his work rate.

Considering what Jupp did last year
I should have written that in "...". Expectations in germany were so high, Bayern basically had to repeat last season, otherwise the public view would be that of the "lost season".
All bullshit aside, Bayern played a ok UCL-season, but got outcoached in both semis and outplayed yesterday. Bayern is not in the best shape the last few weeks and RM seems to be peaking at the right time. Great job by Carlo and his coaching staff.
Of course the 0-4 is hard to swallow, but I see a chance in that ass-kicking. Bayern will analyse this shit and hopefully, as they did after they got their asses kicked by Dortmund in 2012 (5-2 loss in the Cup Final), react properly.
Maybe they need to let some players (Kroos, Rafinha for example) go and add a few pieces.

Maybe Pizarro, because Mandzukic already confirmed that he'll stay.
And I doubt that Claudio leaves. From all I've heard, he's ok with his role with Bayern and I don't think it'll change that much even with both, Lewy and Mandzu on the team. A few games here and there. Nice insurance player.

As I said, I wouldn't mind selling Kroos, preferably after a good WC. I don't care about Rafinha. He's good enough for the Bundesliga and up to the round of the last sixteen in the CL. But I'd prefer to see Lahm back on that position, because it would free up a spot for Martinez.
Noone gets rid of Bonner. That's an eternal rule. Don't know about Batum. But Bayern should sign someone with a quick trigger. Like Steph Curry.
And just imagine if Reus were to sign with Bayern. Wet dream for the countless razorblade factories around Dortmund tbh.

Granted alot of this depends on what offers are received.
Mandzukic doesn't fit and demands a worthwhile price. Gomez would have been more useful under Pep. Mandzukic will complain about all the time he's going to spend on the bench next season. Best to part ways now
Kroos, played well but if you keep Muller (the ultimate utility guy) then you need to open up space for Goetze. Ultimately I prefer giving Ribery 1 more season versus giving Kroos a big pay day. Essentially Kroos or Ribery need to go.
Back 4, no one is safe (Except Lahm when he returns to RB). There are already some names circling that Bayern will surely bring in.
What to do with Schweinsteiger? Pep's system is superior with Thiago + Martinez than Kroos + Bastian or a combination of both. It would be wise to sell high on Bastian but I doubt Bayern does out of respect. Especially given the uncertainty heading into next season

Kroos is 24, Ribery is 31. IMO, Bayern would be smart to keep the young up and coming star and cashing in on Ribery in his prime. I'd do the same with Robben tbh. Muller can play RM and Gotze can play LM. Kroos in the attacking mid role and there is your regular line up (and it's an all-Germany one to boot). They'll still need to fill in on depth, but if they sell Ribery and Robben they'd be flush with cash to do it.
Lahm needs to play RB, you don't think Alaba is safe?
Would be crazy to see them part ways with Bastian. Pep needs to adapt. I think Mandzukic would pair well with Lewandowski, but two-striker formations don't appear to be in vogue with Germany philosophy these days.

Oops I meant Lahm at LB. And yes Alaba is a serious asset. Defensive names I'm hearing Roma's Benatia and Atletico's Laporte (although denied today). Return of Badstuber
You wouldn't mind both Ribery & Robben out? That's quite difficult to replace without a guy of Hazards quality coming in. Although Robben is a year younger and better quality (especially it seems under Pep) Ribery is more dedicated to Bayern.
Do you think Kroos fits in with Pep? I know he was frustrated earlier in the season but maybe he gained Pep's confidence. He does posses that amazing shot but inability to cut into the box is difficult to ignore.
What other thoughts do you have?
