It's their right as free people to be self governed according to their own political wishes. They aren't being represented so they're taking back their natural born right.

they'd have more chance of success if they would, like Bishop Gecko says, self-deport to a red state full of other ignorant bubbas.

GOP just needs to get over it and accept the incompetent leadership that will continue to be elected by large swaths of low-information voters.
This is very reminiscent of the Texas "let's secede from the union" after Obama's re-election. What is with the 'my way or I'll leave' messaging?
I mean really, this makes no more sense than if the democratic voters in Texas threatened to secede because the state is so irredeemably red. There is an essential failure to understand the nature of democracy if this is the result. You don't want to live here? MOVE!!!!!! Just don't involve everybody else in your little temper tantrums. Good grief!

Every time I hear a baby boomer talk about "working hard", "pulling themselves up by their bootstraps", "putting myself through college working at McDonald's and didn't have any debt", i wanna slap the shit out of them. Their parents survived the depression and WW2, worked their asses off like crazy, taxed themselves heavily, and created a strong middle class so their kids could, for the first tine in hisory, get a nice affordable college education. They had every advantage imaginable. Then they wanna act like they did it all themselves with no help. Give me a fuckin break.

millions of boomers are fucked, never achieved or were not able maintain the level of financial position and security their parents did in the 1945-1975 expansion when basically all boats were rising.
Then the Banksters Great Depression destroyed their good jobs, stole their homes, pilfered their savings accounts, etc, etc.
Get your shit straight: it's ALWAYS the the 1% vs the 99%, not generation versus generation, not left vs right, not black vs white, etc, etc. it's ALWAYS the the 1% vs the 99%

I don't dig ditches, but I don't consider any work "beneath me". I like engineering and software development, so the job I have gives me the best of both worlds.
So, you dabble in medical imaging when you aren't hitting the bong? I know some people in that field. Maybe they've heard of you?
Are you crowd funding this? Got a kickstarter page? Using venture capital? (psst -- might want to take a bath before presenting your business plan)

I am willing to work when and how I have to but all you sound like is the reasoning behind 'beggars cannot be choosers.'
You can make stuff up about me all you like but you were the one that said that you could not get a job with your degree --little doubt as to why-- and that you had to learn how to code just to get a job.
Let's keep in mind what started this. You have a degree in engineering and you make fun of someone because they talk about math. I realize that you went to one of the shittiest engineering colleges in the country but that is just fucking sad. No wonder you had to learn code. You certainly aren't desirable on field aptitude.

EGR 2323 Applied Engineering Analysis I [TCCN: MATH 2321.]
(3-1) 3 hours credit. Prerequisite: MAT 1224.
Application of mathematical principles to the analysis of engineering problems using linear algebra and ordinary differential equations (ODE’s). Use of software tools. Topics include: mathematical modeling of engineering problems; separable ODE’s; first-, second-, and higher-order linear constant coefficient ODE’s; characteristic equation of an ODE; systems of coupled first-order ODE’s; matrix addition and multiplication; solution of a linear system of equations via Gauss elimination and Cramer’s rule; rank, determinant, and inverse of a matrix; eigenvalues and eigenvectors; solution of an ODE via Laplace transform; numerical solution of ODE’s. One hour of problem solving recitation.
EGR 3323 Applied Engineering Analysis II
(3-1) 3 hours credit. Prerequisite: EGR 2323.
Application of mathematical principles to the analysis of engineering problems using vector differential and integral calculus, partial differential equations, and Fourier series; complex variables; discrete mathematics; and use of software tools. One hour of problem solving recitation.
