We all know about Statham, but this?

Tony Jaa Eyes Fast & Furious 7 Role (http://www.comingsoon.net/news/movienews.php?id=108140)

If this really goes down...holy shit...this will be the best one yet by miles.

Best how? The only thing they did was bring back the fucking chick in the last one and the story was complete shit to surround it. Let's not forget that great ending with the villain falling out of the plane...after being such a great villain for most of the film that's such a great way to go out. The only thing the last film did right was finally connect it to Tokyo Drift.

This. Fast Five and Fast Six were the best since the original. Part 1 was the best, 2 was meh, Tokyo Drift just didn't connect at all until now, and 4 was OK....

Exactly. I have no idea what he is talking about. Tokyo Drift was awful.

And :lol pointing how they killed the villain and the story as a way to shit on the last two, especially when trying to defend Tokyo Drift. These movies are never about the story. Anyone going into them knows that. Speed, action and fight scenes are the reasons people go to these movies and in that department the last two have been the best. Anyone going in knows that. It's not like they are trying to make a Fast & Furious Inception.

I am guessing the linear plot line of Drift threw you off didn't it. With this outlook I am sure you enjoyed that totally awesome Premium Rush film too with all of its speed, action and fight scenes. No one said it had to be a Fast and Furious Inception but at least draw up a plot line that flows. I mean shit what was up with the pawn shop scene from the last one? All he found out by going there was that she got a gun from there (which he already knew she had due to being shot by it along with knowing where she got it). What did it do to promote the story? With all that said I am guessing that you will enjoy Fast and Furious Transporter Bak 7 and that's cool but please don't tell me that Drift didn't bring some love back for the franchise after the second film shit on everything that had to do with the name.

No...it's more like the awful fucking acting threw me off. :lol Lucas Black and Bow Wow.

The only other things these movies are about besides the action are the characters...and the characters in the the past two were great and the ones in Tokyo Drift sucked. It doesn't matter that Tokyo Drift has a linear plot when the acting blows and there very little that's interesting about the characters. Paul Walker and Vin Diesel have great on screen chemistry and the supporting cast of drivers personalities are a perfect compliment. The Rock's over the top presence was just icing on the cake.

From Rotten Tomatoes..."Sleek, loud, and over the top, Fast Five proudly embraces its brainless action thrills and injects new life into the franchise." If you are going to nit pick the plot on a movie like this then don't go fucking watch it...be cause you are the only one on the planet who is not going to the movie for the reason it's on the screen.

i watched part of the first one, didn't finish it because the whole thing looked stupid and I don't care for Paul Walker. The second one directed by John Singleton looked even worse.

however I did watch Tokyo Drift at my old job and actually thought it wasn't that bad. people might shit on it but Justin Lin, the director, got his start with the series and went on to revitalize it by directing the next few. He seems to have a talent directing action.

I'll try to watch this series in its entirety, it seems like it's gotten better since the first two shit films.

Unfortunately supplying gear to twoFour54 (the production facility in AD) doesn't get you facetime with the (female) stars of the movie - not that I really expected any. The whole buzz around the production went very quiet after Walker's death though.

But it just shows how little you know about movies - there's always room for a good Slomo shot during a car chase :)

As far as how the car got up there, yes. As far as the jumps themselves obviously it's all Hollywood but so are a bunch of other scenes from the series tbh.

can't replace him with someone from the group either, cause there's nobody that can take the place of number 2 guy. If they went that route i imagine it will be ludacris since they introduced a second techy character. And what the fuck was rousy's point to be in this movie? Her acting was worse than carano's and there was no need for her character anyway.

http://www.cracked.com/blog/5-reasons-the-fast-furious-deserves-your-respect/

someones comment that i think is pretty true:

Rewatching the entire series I've noticed that each film seems to have its own feel to it, being a bit more than just "FAST CARS AND HOT CHICKS!" Kind of like each one belongs to a different genre.

First was, essentially, Point Break with cars. An undercover-cop getting into some s**t type film.
Second film felt like a satire on buddy-cop films, with Walker and Gibson playing off of each other.
Third film was a standard fish out of water trying to fit in story.
Fourth film was an action revenge flick.
Fifth film turned the series into an over the top heist film.
Sixth film entered into more James Bond/Mission Impossible action territory.
And the seventh combined elements of Four, Five, and Six, turned the absurdity up to eleven, ripped off the knob, and delivered one hell of an enjoyable film.

It's really surprising just how different the movies are from each other once you look past the "FAST CARS AND HOT CHICKS!!!11" factor.

that ending was retarded and seemed like it was put together by a high schooler. First off, the shots of Walker and his family playing around on the beach and everyone else commenting on it was straight out of a cheesy commercial. Second, Vin Diesel straight up leaving was just stupid. Even more stupid was Walker showing up beside him. Then, them splitting off on different roads, could you be any more obvious and less creative? And it's like where the fuck are they going? Everyone's still back there. And I think the song held it back regardless. I wanted to get the feels from it but it was just flat

Tokyo Drift is ok on it's own but it doesn't belong in the series. They tried to connect it through Han after but it's obvious that wasn't the original intent otherwise he would've been the main character instead of the white boy.

:lol There's always that guy that will find a way to over analyze something like this.

It's a tribute brah. Who cares if it's cheesy or not perfect.

A little cheese is fine and I wouldn't expect perfect, but this seemed so amateurish. Zero creativity
