Watching this brings back some great memories of that season. I got to go to game 2 of that series.

Most nerve wracking game of all time. Had to pop a couple Xanax when we got down in the 3rd.

Spurs had a few chances in game 6 to do what Manu just did in Game 7 of '05, run time off the clock...

Spurs had a few chances in game 6 to do what Manu just did in Game 7 of '05, run time off the clock...

That's when the team actually knew how to close games. Instead of getting fouled Manu could have ran more time of the clock. He made all kinds of bad decisions in that game on offense and defense.

The team as a whole was out of gas.

I pretty much knew after playing in overtime in game 6 there was no way they were winning the next game less than 48 hours away. The chances of winning game 7 would have been better if they had been blown out in game 6.

This. Shots early in the clock that went clang......along with eight Manu turnovers....killed us.

.......... You are correct, he would bench the guy turning it over alot or the cold guy and put in a differenct player to try and change the game. He lost it now.
