You don't mean radio by that right..?
If not, is this the first time they give it on WOAI? I've never seen a preseason game on local tv.

Spurs to visit Duncan's alma mater

San Antonio Express-News
Tim Duncan will make his long-awaited return to Wake Forest University this October as part of the Spurs' preseason schedule.
The Spurs will play Washington on Oct. 13 on Wake Forest's campus in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Duncan averaged 16.5 points and 12.3 rebounds in four seasons for the Demon Deacons from 1993-97. He won both the Naismith and Wooden awards as a senior before the Spurs made him the No. 1 pick in the 1997 NBA Draft.
Duncan, who graduated from Wake Forest with a degree in psychology, was supposed to return to his alma mater for a preseason game against Philadelphia in 1998 until the NBA lockout wiped out the league's exhibition schedule.
The Spurs open the preseason on Oct. 12 against Philadelphia in Columbia, S.C. They also will visit Indiana and New Orleans and play four games at the SBC Center against Houston, New York, the Pacers and the 76ers.
Tickets for the Spurs' home preseason games will go on sale at 11 a.m. Saturday.

Couple things:
1. You know what I just realized? Preseason starts in just a few weeks. Okay, like, 11 weeks... but that probably sounds longer than it actually is. I've been in such withdrawal, I've been watching the Olympic games. We'll have real-live Spurs games before the DTs stop.
2. Does anyone know (or know when we'll know) if these, in fact, won't be broadcast locally on TV? Surely KENS will carry them, won't they? I freakin' hate listening on the radio... I get shitty reception up here in San Marcos, although I think Bill Schoening does a great job, for what it's worth.

I tried getting tickets for the October 15- Rockets game but only Balcony Level tickets were available. Since it will be my B-day I wanted some better seats but had no luck :depressed

I didn't get anything at 11am either. I didn't think the ticket brokers would be as interested in pre-season. I would imagine we will start seeing tickets showing up on ebay, stubhub, etc. a week or so before pre-season starts.
