Dear Spurs fans!

I was lucky to get the tickets in 8th row for tonight's friendly match between Slovenia and France. Because you usually don't get to see NBA stars like Tony Parker here in my country, I took my camera with me and managed to get a couple of decent shots and videos, so I put them all together in a short amateur video. I know you miss the Spurs and Tony, so I hope you like it!

At 2:24, Tony is trying to convince Rasho to comeback to the Spurs. :stirpot:

Thanks! :tu

I wish Tony would consider wearing some more protective gear.. some people may think it's solely for looks but certain sleeves can absorb some of the contact he takes on a nightly basis.

OT, but how are the ratings for the Spurs in 2k13?

Actually, Tony was given wooden sunglasses (I think from Slovenian basketball federation) during halftime, but I'm sure there was some negotiating involved after that. :hat

Definitely a great experience, especially because it wasn't sure that Parker will play. Well in the end he played 27 minutes, but it was easy to see that he wasn't playing at full level, which is understandable, knowing that his knee might not be 100% healed and that Eurobasket starts in 4 days. Despite that, it was a pleasure seeing him in person for the first time.

What surprised me a little is how big and loud applause he got when he was introduced before the game, it made it obvious that he will be the no1. superstar at Eurobasket. And it was nice to see that people appreciate the work he has done, it made me a really proud Spurs fan right there on the 8th row. :king

I want to add stats from other 2 Spurs players:

- Diaw: 30 mins, 2 pts (struggled from the field: 1/6), 8 rb, 5 to.
To me it looked like Boris had an off night, the shots weren't falling and he made a couple of bad passes. It seemed like he played without the energy, but I'm sure he will when the real games start.
- De Colo: 16 mins, 11 pts (2/2 from 3, 4/7 alltogether), 2rb, 3 to.
De Colo was a positive surprise, he was really confident with his shot yesterday and was the 3rd leading scorer for France, although he only played 16 minutes. What I found interesting was that usually he played PG when he was on the court with Parker. As I said, maybe the reason was that Parker wasn't playing at 100%, we will see more in further games.

Hopefully Diaw was saving his best for the tournament. Again, watching a game from that close is a different experience. Thanks for sharing and ...:flag:!

Glad to hear Nando playing so well. Maybe that is what they see in him and why he is still with the Spurs.
