Mud - the movie

Really good. Maybe a bit too Hollywood in the end but very interesting. As far as capturing backwoods, this is up there with Stand By Me and Winters Bone. The two kid actors were brilliant and carried the movie. Check this out with your Arbys sandwich.

I can't agree. The first half of the movie was great but it fell apart from the moccasin bite onward. Disappointing would be my description.

Excellent movie. Matthew McConaughey has made a few really good films here lately. Check out the director's previous movie too, Take Shelter. Incredible performance by Michael Shannon.
