Looks like it's gonna be a good show, if only I knew how to speak in Spanish.

They're speaking Argentinian.

Uh, I'm pretty sure it's Spanish dude. I actually checked wikipedia to be sure. Unless I was lazy and missed something, and I double checked it too. Unless by "Argentinian", you meant one of the indigenous languages there...

Anyway, my point is if I knew Spanish, I'd understand what they were saying. Or I'd get the gist of what they're saying "Argentinian".

Yes and Oberto told her "I've never watched Desperate Housewives" :lol

Look if you wanted to say " Hey look it's Eva ! " just say it dude

He was referring to a thread that ended up making fun of a poster who though people in Brazil spoke Brazilian.

No. They speak tex-mex which is the equivalent of Ebonics to English.

No. They speak tex-mex which is the equivalent of Ebonics to English.

That may have been the case in the old days, but it certainly hasn't been true for the last 10-20 years since we've has a huge influx of Mexican citizens (first poor-born, but more recently, wealthy ones) settling in town. I worked between Mexico City and San Antonio for years, and promise you that the level of literacy/fluency has increased exponentially here across the board -- from taco trucks to boardrooms. But back to our regularly scheduled programming...

This is a fact, and can be backed up with statistics by easily going online.

I was working on a translation of an Oberto interview, that had small mentions of the NBA, Pop and the Spurs. Stopped because I didn't know it there was much interest.

You guys let me know if you want me to complete it. As far as the show, I hope it makes it to YouTube at some point.

It would be nice to read it if you have the time. Most of us Spur fans would be interested in what Manu and Oberto have to say, especially if it is Spur related.

Pop a Christopher Hitchens fan? *Bows* Quite possibly one of the most insightful interviews he's ever done. Those mediocre national media types should take notes.
