I was on the phone with Verizon for about 30 mins and they can't figure out what happened. in one day, my data went from 75% to 90% usage. I checked and it all came from "background data" using an EMAIL app. wth!!!!!!!!

Anyone know why it was us 1.71gb in 24 hours?!

Nope..all I get is fb notification emails...which I now disabled. ..

But it was never a problem before!

Possible glitch? Maybe reinstall email app?

I would try uninstalling the email app and going 3rd party like K9 or aquamail. See if the problem persists.

ok..removing the email account stopped the issue. I find it crazy that it can use that much data. Anyways...now I have to decide whether to try it again using the same app or try a third party email app.
