Maybe because we saw which conference was the best and preferred to compete in that conference. Not to mention more money and exposure.

Not surprising. SEC generally has the best athletes, mainly because there are more black guys in their region than any other region in the states, lol.

I wonder what is the percentage of draftees by conference of players that actually make it in the NFL and are consistently on active rosters?

I would be more interested to see which states the greatest number of NFL players came from, disregarding colleges entirely.

When you don't really compete in one conference, and then turn around talking about wanting to compete against "the best" in another, you come off as an idiot. You do realize this, right?

whats funny is how blind aggie fans are to the fact that they lucked out and got Manziel, and that as soon as he is gone, the program will be back to blowing ass, and all their "recruiting advantages" they gained from his time being with the team will be down the drain, as they will all go back to going to Texas, OU, and other schools.

enjoy your time with johnny football :toast

Beating them last year in Tuscaloosa when we were projected to win 6 games wasn't impressive?

This is how I know you have no concept of success.

You can chalk up that one win to you guys catching them sleeping. That is exactly what aggsy said in 1996 when Texas beat Nebraska. But we did it again, and again, and then we earned a little respect.

Beat Bama this weekend and you will definitely earn some respect, this time they are coming in as prepared for you as they do for LSU.

Do that to Bama and you will prove it wasn't a fluke.

Johnny's first game ever we lost. Correct. LSU was also tough. Oklahoma wasn't a quality opponent? I know we made them look bad, but...

Recently? The last successful SEC QBs in the NFL were Peyton and Eli. If you wanna go all time, then sure. However, Jamarcus Russell, Tim Tebow, they were successful? RGIII, Dalton, and even Bradford are more successful than than shit the SEC puts in the NFL as of late.

What are you measuring success by? team wins?

Stafford is better than Bradford and Dalton

Dalton never played in the Big 12. He's a Mountain West QB. Plus he's a game manager on a very talented team. Or do you count Tannehill as a SEC QB? He's actually Big 12

Stafford has been pretty good. The jury is still out on Newton. RGIII had one strong season in a QB friendly system. Bradford has been average to solid.

Easily Pac-12, or Pac-10 or whatever they call themselves. Most overrated conference ever, and most overrated players ever. Just look at Leinart and Sanchez. Sanchez was a #5 pick. And I don't mean 5th round. I mean #5 overall. The best QB to come out of USC, after all the ballyhooed QB;s, is Carson Palmer. Please. And look at all those skill players from the "offensive juggernaut" Oregon. It's simple enough to look like a superstar against Pac-12 competition, but none of them do anything in the NFL. LaMichael James almost won the Heisman. Has he even seen the field in the NFL? Toby Gerhardt almost won the Heisman, and he's never even been a starter in the NFL.
