Faker fans pretending they can lift up Kobe's importance to the legacy of the Lakers by throwing Pau under the bus. They did the same with Shaq.

Not nearly as adorable as how all the join dates firmly support that argument.

Kobe did not inspire any of you to join in on basketball discussion because you knew your team was fucked. Once you got Pau, you knew your team was competitive. Suddenly this basketball flower blossomed for you and here you are, but you shit on the person who inspired you to join in favor of the one who didn't.

It's kinda hard to join a forum when i didn't know about its existence before the repeat.

And i didn't even join during the back2back rings, i joined between a sweep and the Lakers 1-4 loss against OKC. Now tell me more about how i was inspired by one win in two series.

Because you didn't care to look. That's how bandwagons work.

0-16 in the playoffs without Kobe, 1st round sweep, 4 double digit losses and i'm throwing Pau under the bus because all i asked for was one measly W.

Since 2011 that he's playing like he has a vagina for absolutely no reason.

Pau was instrumental during the repeat, i never said otherwise. Still doesn't justify the last 3 seasons.

Kobe has been around through it all. He's the common thread in all the shitty seasons since Shaq left tbqfh

Being such a huge part of 2 titles has earned Pau a pass PERIOD. And you're seriously blaming the sweep on Pau when the Lakers had no guards and the worst version of D12 imaginable?

Throwing Pau under the bus is even worse than throwing Shaq under the bus IMO. Sure he wasn't on Shaq's level talent wise, but he was absolutely huge in those title runs and he's been nothing but a consummate professional since. Truly one of the classiest Lakers we've seen for a while.
