These are just straight up. I do have the ATS trends.

The Steelers haven't started out 0-2 in over 10 years.

The Rams haven't started out 2-0 in over 10 years.

Seattle has never lost their home opener in the Pete Carroll era. And have only lost 1 home opener in the last 10 years, yep...Niners.

The Redskins have never started out 0-2 in the Mike Shanahan era.

No team has won more games in the month of Sept than the Denver Broncos they are...56-31.

The Falcons have never gone 0-2 in the Mike Smith era. Or lost a home opener.

The Ravens are 9-1 in home openers the last 10 years.

Chicago is 9-1 at home vs the Vikes the last 10 years.

The Browns are 1-9 the last 10 years in their first road game of the season.

The Packers have never started off 0-2 under Mike McCarthy.

If the Chiefs win game one they haven't lost game two in over 10 years.

The Dolphins have only started off 2-0 once in over 10 years.

There is no team in the league that compares to Seattle 14-7 (nobody even close to matching that) at home on a Sunday night.

While those are all strong time tested trends I do expect a few not to hold up.

The strongest ATS play has the Steelers 10-1 vs the number at the Bengals. The Steelers also an 11-7 road dog on Monday nights. Just not this Steeler team.

We won't see a better QB matchup as far as athetic ability goes all season than what we'll see Sunday night. What a treat!

I do wish the announcers would stop saying....Venon Davis is the fastest Niner. Ted Ginn would have smoked him just as LaMichael James would now. Yep, he's fast for a TE.
