Yeah, Rose is really good, hopefully he comes back strong and plays well (except against the Spurs), plus, those East teams need more competition, especially in the regular season so they don't pad their win totals. The lack of competition there has made it easier for Miami to get home court throughout the playoffs the last few seasons.

I really find it interesting what Pop said about Young/Maggette (at the 10:40 min mark).
Ginobili/Belinelli will be the main backup SF but as Pop said, they will be in difficulty for some matchups.
Pop mentioning Diaw might also mean that their intend is to try to make him lose some weight. He might be more willing to do so because he seemed extra motivated and his back will surely behave better with less weight to carry. The loss of weight will hurt him in some matchups but Spurs have enough meat in the paint with Ayres and Baynes to front the stronger/heavier players.

Diaw is definitely better suited than Green for defending Anthony; but with Durant, he'd still be giving up 2-3 inches, in addition to lacking the requisite mobility. Green obviously isn't Allen defensively, but Allen has guarded Durant over the years and done a solid job despite giving up 6-7 inches. Realistically though, Leonard needs to avoid foul trouble and damn near match Durant minute for minute.

Teams likely to punish the Spurs' lack of size/strength on the wings: Nets, Bulls, Nuggets, Warriors, Pacers, Heat, Knicks, Thunder, Raptors.
