Really having a hard time with this one.
Two coachs with new teams.
The Andy Reid back home factor,
How do the Chiefs prepare for that offense in a short week?
Can the Chiefs win three in a row?
Can that woeful Eagle D deal with Jamaal Charles (his career average per carry the best of all time among featured backs)
Will the Eagles lose back to back home games?
Well the Eagles do lose back to back home games, the last three seasons they've lost both everytime they were in that situation. But...that wasn't under Chip Kelly.
The Eagles are 4-0 ATS the last 4 vs KC but it's been too long ago for that to factor into this.
I think it's safe to say the Chiefs will want to win this for Andy Reid (more so than the norm) for the obvious reasons. I also get the feel that Chip Kelly isn't a coach that makes life pleasant for his players if they lose.
Really a hard game to get a read on.
There is one little trend of interest.......the Chiefs haven't won their first two road games since 2003.
Also....Eagles are 16-9 as home favs while the Chiefs are 8-8 s road dogs in these nationally televised night games. The Eagles are also 9=0 vs the number the week after scoring 30 points.
I am however talking straight up, I'm at a gaudy 25-7 and want to start the week off right.
