San Antonio doctors say the obesity problem is at epidemic levels they are now treating pre-teen children weighing more than 400 pounds. The Children's Hospital of San Antonio will open on October 1 the city's first clinic specifically dedicated to treating obese and overweight children. It will be run by Dr. Suzanne Cuda, a pediatrician. "I've seen a 12-year old weighing 400 pounds. And I've seen many teenagers weighing 400 or more pounds. In San Antonio? Yes," said Cuda. The obesity rate among children, she says is more than 40 percent within San Antonio's inner-city.
