:tu he seems like a good guy. bless his heart

we might see peace in the world after all. Not. Who am I kidding, even with this 'new Iran' the warmongers will not be stopped

Plus, last time Iran was trying to get "on good terms" with the West, the West helped Iraq invade Iran and gas thousands of Iranians.

that's right BTW. Iran has a Jew population and they live peacefully there.

Of course, some ppl here might have a hard time believing that since they believe Iran wants to wipe all Jews off the face of the earth :lol

He also responded to a tweet by Christine Pelosi, the daughter of the US politician Nancy Pelosi, who had told the Iranian minister that the Jewish new year "would have been sweeter" if Iran ended its Holocaust denial.

Zarif posted to her: "Iran never denied it. The man who was perceived to be denying it is now gone. Happy New Year." The Iranian foreign minister was referring to Ahmadinejad.

:lmao nigga got skillz :lol

The president of of Iran is just a puppet of the real power there. I would be very, very careful of trusting anything he says.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani told NBC News on Wednesday that his administration will never develop nuclear weapons and that he has full authority to make a deal with the West on the disputed atomic program.

In Rouhani's first interview with a U.S. news outlet since his election, he spoke to NBC News National and International correspondent/anchor Ann Curry at the presidential compound in Tehran. The interview will air on NBC Nightly News at 6:30 p.m. ET.

Rouhani spoke after a slew of signs that he is cautiously open to defrosting relations with the U.S., which were in deep freeze under the isolating leadership of his predecessor, the inflammatory Mahmoud Ahmedinejad.

Elected in June with just over 50 percent of the vote, he was the only non-conservative in a field of hard-liners. In his inaugural address, he spoke of engagement with the West to end sanctions over Iran's disputed nuclear program.

Isn't it possible he simply believed in the actions he took?

Graham told Fox News over the weekend that he intends to pursue a new congressional resolution authorizing the United States to use military force ... in Iran. Yesterday, he moved the process forward Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Tuesday he's working on legislation that would give the president the green light to attack Iran if negotiations over the country's alleged nuclear weapons program stall.

Graham, one of the GOP's most prominent hawks, told reporters on Tuesday that he's worried the administration's failure to get congressional approval for a strike against Syria has emboldened Iran. He said he'll be working with Democrats and Republicans on legislation that would encourage diplomacy, threaten more sanctions and authorize military action as a last resort.

Graham added, "The Iranian debate should begin pretty soon -- what should we do, and how should we do it? I do believe that it's important for to have in his back pocket if negotiations get serious an authorization to use force."

I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that this resolution won't have a whole lot of co-sponsors. If most of the country and most of the Congress was highly skeptical about limited strikes in Syria, the appetite for a military confrontation with Iran is likely to be even more limited.

iranians are good people. they don't care about your skin color or anything like that. they can't stand arabs.

islam has destroyed that country from the inside out. as long as the ayatollah runs things, there won't be much progress.

The clergy in Iran has absolute control. The PM can act however if the clerics decide that they do not want it done they through the courts can dictate what they like.

They have unequivocally and within the last couple of years have said they want to eliminate the state of Israel. Token jew or not.
