I have noticed the steep rise in racist remarks on the internet and am just wondering why it is such a trend. Is it because the need for individualism is so great that racism is the way to separate the person from the flock? Is it a narcissistic ploy to garner attention? Is it just harmless joking? Will people actually start to believe their own shit they spew online regarding race should they do it often enough because it is the "cool" thing to do? Could it be simply because it is fun?
